Campagnolo Veloce Brakes

Veloce brakes are one of the cheaper Campagnolo brakes for sale at the moment. You can buy standard Veloce calipers for as little as $50 in some cases. Like many of the Campagnolo groupsets the Veloce comes with two different versions – the standard and Skeleton models. Skelton brakes only have a single fulcrum on the rear wheel although the torque applied by both types of brakes is guaranteed. Skelton brakes are more expensive than the standard model.

Campagnolo Centaur Brakes

Campagnolo Centaur brakes are around $110 for the Skelton version although as always if you can find used Campagnolo brakes then you’ll be able to get them cheaper. Make sure you check who is selling cheap Campagnolo brakes before you buy though as it’s important to know that they can be trusted. Centaur brakes have been built to be as light as possible while retaining the performance that has made them so popular amongst riders over the years. The design of the Centaur brakes is very aggressive compared with other models and the front brake is more powerful compared to the rear in order to reduce the chances of locking up.

Campagnolo Mirage Brakes

Campagnolo Mirage brakes usually cost around $50 for the standard version. Mirage Pivot brakes only weigh around 340g and come with a design that improves braking power while at the same time increasing modulation and progressiveness.

Other Campagnolo Brakes

Some other Campagnolo brakes available include the Delta, Chorus and Xenon. Campagnolo are well known for their style and devotion to aesthetics to its no surprise that all the brakes manufactured by them look great. When buying Campagnolo brakes make sure you have a look at the different options before making a decision. You also need to ensure that you know which model of Campagnolo brakes you are getting. Brakes manufactured by the company are often updated to reduce weight and increasing braking power.
