Hayes Stroker Gram Brakes
One of the examples of Hayes disc brakes for sale is the Stroker Gram. These are built with weight in mind and hence are perfect for cross country and off road racers as well as general mountain bike riders. The Stroker Gram differs from the other Stroker models in that it doesn’t have any non-structural material continued within the cylinder in order to preserve strength while reducing weight.
Hayes Stroker Ace
The Stroker Ace is the first of Hayes disc brakes to include four piston caliper with a mono-bloc design. The Hayes Stroker Ace disc brake also comes with larger pads than other options which means that it manages heat better. In order to increase leverage and hence the rider’s ability to control the braking the lever is longer than other models. The Stroker Ace is the company’s most powerful brake.
Hayes Stroker Trail Brake
The Striker trail is an example of Hayes disc brakes which are meant for XC, Trail and All Mountain riding. According to the Hayes website the Stroker Trail comes with an adjustable banjo which allows for the hose to be routed without worrying about it getting caught. It also has a higher hydraulic ratio than other similar models which helps to increase its power. This also increases the level of modulation of the Stroker Trail.
Other models included in the Hayes Stroker disc brake series include the Stroker Carbon and Stroker Ryde.
Hayes Prime Disc Brakes
There are two models in the Prime series – the Hayes Prime Pro and Hayes Prime Expert. Both come with a tool free dead stroke adjustment while the Expert has a stamped stainless rotor compared to the two piece rotor of the pro. There are other differences including a different pad material and push rod. When it comes to Hayes disc brakes the Prime series is said to include a number of firsts for the industry.
