SRAM Red Brakes

The SRAM Red series is built with competition and high performance in mind. The brakes are manufactured to be light while still having a high level of modulation and stopping performance. SRAM red brakes use SRAM’s dual pivot design which has been used in a number of race situations.  The brakes are made using aluminum arms and allow for spring adjustments that provide balance between adjustability and weight.

The advantage of the dual pivot design is that it improves the modulation of the breaks compared with other similar models. SRAM Red brakes for sale often cost around $200 although there are often some for cheaper than this. When buying cheap SRAM red brakes make sure you know exactly what’s included.

SRAM Force Brakes

SRAM Force disc brakes are designed to provide high performance with light weight. The brakes are also built to look smooth and streamlined. Like the Red brakes the Force brake set uses Dual Pivot designs and brake pads which allow for high braking power.

A new SRAM Force Caliper brake set 2010 will cost around $100. Used SRAM disc brakes are also available from many online auction sites.

SRAM Rival Brakes

The SRAM Rival series is immediately recognizable from its pure black finish. SRAM Rival brakes come with Dual Pivot system, proprietary brake pad material for extra power and an aesthetically pleasing design. IF you’re looking for a brake that has a progressive feel as well as a large amount of stopping power then Rival brakes may be a good choice.
SRMA rival brakes for sale usually cost around $100 depending on where you buy from.

SRAM Apex Brakes

The latest version of SRAM Apex disc brakes has been upgraded from the previous model in order to increase the braking power and performance while improving its looks. Like the other road SRAM disc brakes it comes with Dual Pivot design as well as a centering adjuster which is external. It also comes with proprietary brake pads.
