Time I-CLIC Pedals (road pedals)
There are a number of different types of Time I-CLIC pedals. For example, the I-CLIC TI Carbon is a pedal that comes with a plus or minus 5 degree angular float, a lateral float of 2.5mm and a release angle of 15 degrees. It weighs only 175 grams per pair. The I-CLIC Carbon is slightly heavier at 235g per pair.
The standard Time I-CLIC pedal is built using a steel axle composite body and a steel arch axle. The pedal is 447 mm squared and the Angular float is also +- 5 degrees. It weighs 260g so is considerably heavier than the I-CLIC TI Carbon model. When looking to buy Time I-CLIC pedals it’s important to assess the type of road biking you’ll be undertaking as this can make a difference to which is the best for you. The price of I-CLIC pedals is also a factor as some models are more expensive.
Time ATAC Pedals (MTB pedals)
The most well-known product line when it comes to mountain bike pedals produced by Time is the ATAC range. Like the I-CLIC for road bikes the ATAC line has a number of different versions such as the ATAC XS TI Carbon, ATAC SX, ROC ATAC S and ROC ATAC. If you’re a cross country racer than the AAC XS TI Carbon is probably the best option as it is built with lightweight carbon or titanium. It’s also a relatively strong pedal that’s used by a number of racing cyclists such as Jose Hermida.
Other Time Pedals
There are a number of other Time pedals available for both road and mountain bikes. For example, the Z and Z Control mountain bike pedals come with a wider surface area in order to improve their ability to cope with freeride cycling. They also include an easy entry system.
Some of the other road Time pedals for sale include the Time RXS Carbon and Allroad Gripper. The RXS speed is also available. Weight-wise the Allroad Gripper is one of the heaviest weighing 400g per pair.
